In the past, they used to wrap them with a strong cloth, the so-called fascioma. Now this wrapping is not common, but it is a fact that babies feel a sense of security when their bodies are covered.
Our muslin is made of 100% cotton, high quality, natural fabric, with a particularly soft and loose knitting, so that air circulates and the baby's body breathes, while at the same time its temperature adjusts smoothly and naturally to that of the environment, as it neither overheats it, nor lets it cool down.
Wrapping the baby in muslin helps babies sleep as they feel more secure and reduces the sudden reflexive jerk of their legs and arms.
Our large muslin is versatile, meaning it can be used as a soft swaddle, a burp cloth, a blanket, a mattress protector, a nursing cover, a pram shade and more. The muslin comes packaged in an envelope, made of the same fabric as the muslin, very beautiful as a gift but also so you can carry it around easily. Machine washable at 30°C. It dries very quickly.
